Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity to join our product team as a Senior Merchandise Planner. As a key member of the team, you will be entrusted with managing our merchandise planning strategy and tactical direction for the business, to maximize short- and long-term sales and margin objectives.
We are looking for an individual with high level of planning experience, advanced Excel skills and preferably experience with On Tempo. Previous experience of range planning, margin management and allocating a must. This is a permanent and full-time role reporting to our Head of Product & Procurement, based in our Auckland office..
What you'll do:
• Manage the seasonal flow of stock to all sales channels, identifying opportunities to increase sales, improve margins, optimize inventory and reduce markdowns.
• Develop and manage the seasonal Multi channel buying plans (OTB) for sign off.
• Produce seasonal and core buying plans to meet business financial targets.
• Manage and oversee Inventory and Supply Chain Processes, KPIs and reporting, to ensure the effective implementation these through the business.
• Produce accurate and timely Weekly, Month and Seasonal End reports to provide clear and concise actions and lessons learnt.
• Provide leadership, support, coaching and regular feedback to direct reports and manage team workload and priorities.
What you'll bring:
• At least 4 years of Retail Apparel Planning Experience.
• Advanced Computer Skills –Excel, ERP, Merchandise Planning Tools.
• Excellent Analytical and Numerical Skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• People Management Experience.
• Excellent communication, planning, prioritizing and negotiation skills.
• Highly collaborative team player with a flexible attitude.
• Be passionate about ethical products and conscious consumption.
