We have an exciting opportunity to join our management team as Senior Merchandise planner. Managing a small team, you will be driving Nature Baby’s all aspects of Merchandise planning solutions.
We are looking for an experienced Merchandise planner with a high level of commercial acumen, numerical and analytical skills, who can capture Nature Baby’s vision whilst driving for continuous improvement. This role reports into the Head of Product & Procurement.
What you'll do:
• assist in the development, implementation, and communication of the brand merchandise planning strategy to maximise profitability and gain market share
• assist financial planning and Provide direction to consequent product planning and inventory management process
• manage core and seasonal flow of stock to all sales channels in order to identify opportunities to increase sales, improve margins, optimize inventory and reduce markdowns
• meticulously manage Company OTB that maintains optimum stock requirements throughout trading periods
• develop and manage the seasonal Multi channel buying plans for sign off
• develop and maintain sound Inventory Management and Supply Chain
• processes, KPI’s and reporting, to ensure ‘right product at the right time and at the right place
• produce accurate and timely Weekly, Month and End of Seasonal reports to help the management make clear and concise actions
• provide leadership, support, coaching and regular feedback to enable all staff to effectively perform their role and meet their potential
What you'll bring:
• 5+ years in a multi-channel retail environment
• excellent analytical & numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail
• be able to work in a fast moving retail environment and meet strict deadlines
• familiar with OTB planning, category and buying plans
• passion for sustainability, ethical products and conscious consumption
• commercial acumen coupled with excellent teamwork, communication, and prioritising skills
• advanced computer skills in particular ERP, Excel, Outlook, On Tempo is a must
